Like her design work, Doreen Adengo’s teaching practice relies on interdisciplinary communication and collaboration. She has taught classes on African urbanism as part of the Uganda International Field Program at The New school, along with design studio and drawing at Pratt. She has also served as a part-time lecturer at the Faculty for the Built Environment at Uganda Martyrs University. She currently is leading an Affordable Housing studio in partnership with Makerere University's Industrial training program and National Housing Construction Company, and is a visiting critic at the University of Johannesburg’s Graduate School of Architecture.
